Nomura Research Institute America, Inc. (NRI America) was founded in 1967 as the first overseas office of Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (NRI), and it has nearly 50 years of history.

NRI America comprises three distinct business divisions, along with an administrative team, that deliver comprehensive services and solutions.

  1. The Research and Consulting Division, NRI America’s largest unit, offers extensive expertise in various industries across the United States and Latin America. We assist clients in expanding their businesses by providing industry and company research, designing corporate structures, and developing business strategies for both established and startup companies. Our team collaborates with governments and multinational corporations to establish offices in new countries, identifies suitable business partners, and supports merger and acquisition opportunities.
  2. The Financial Services Research and Technology Division, the origin of NRI America, was founded in 1967 to provide financial institutions with the latest market trends in New York City. Today, we analyze financial market trends in major cities across the U.S. and Europe to inform both our clients and the NRI group. We also directly offer financial research and IT services to our clients.
  3. The IT Support Service Division specializes in developing on-site information systems primarily for financial institutions. We offer a range of IT support services, including system development, maintenance, operational management, and helpdesk assistance.

Leveraging the expertise, knowledge, and experience of over 10,000 specialists in our global network, NRI America customizes its approach to each project, ensuring our clients’ success in global business development.

Lastly, the Administrative Division facilitates NRI America’s business growth by managing the internal shared-services of human resources, accounting and finance, and IT support for Nomura Research Institute Holdings America, Inc. (NRIHA).
